Do you ever feel like your brain and your emotions are conspiring against you?

Whether you were a chronic worry wart before having a baby or discovered Pandora’s Box of Panic when you entered motherhood, you can take control. Part support, part therapy, part book club, plus a healthy dose of neuro-geekery, this group will show you how!

Based on the book, Rewire Your Anxious Brain, by Catherine Pittman, PhD. and Elizabeth Karle, this six-week group will educate you about where anxiety starts and teach you practical strategies for putting your brain to work so you can get a grip on the over-worrying, intrusive thoughts, and panic once and for all.

I’ve customized some of the top evidence-based, cognitive-behavioral techniques just for sleep deprived, overwhelmed, and hopeless new moms because, let’s face it, motherhood is full of anxiety-provoking moments. Couldn’t you use a few tools to help you through it? Guess what, your brain is right there in your skull just waiting for you to train it to use its powers for good!

  • Investment: $500 prepaid at time of registration (payable by credit card via IvyPay, a secure, HIPAA-compliant credit card processing app and may be split into two separate payments).

  • Price includes one individual intake session (new clients only), 6 weekly group sessions (with snacks!), where we will discuss and practice brain-changing strategies for a lifetime of anxiety-management. You’ll also learn how to teach your child how to use these skills (when they get older, of course).

  • We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings from 6-7:30pm in my Wake Forest office (833 Wake Forest Business Park, Suite H).

  • Babies are welcome, but ideally I’d love for your group experience to be part of your self-care time, distraction-free. Of course, I understand that childcare plans sometimes fall through, so I’d rather you bring baby along than have to miss out on a session.
